Learn to lead international Groups - Hybrid

Do you want to make a difference, gain international experience, or are you looking for an exciting internship?

Then this seminar is just right for you!

With us – the ijgd – you can learn how to lead international youth groups and expand your intercultural skills.

We offer a practical introduction to youth work and provide you with all the essential knowledge needed to competently lead youth groups in Germany. Additionally, there is a special focus on working with international youth groups.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to choose from over 60 international work camps, where you can put your skills into practice while receiving an expense allowance.

In a work camp, an internationally composed youth group (aged 16-26) engages in a non-profit project within Germany in the fields of nature, environment, culture, or society.

By participating in this seminar, you will acquire important knowledge and skills that qualify you for the Juleica (Youth Leader Card).

Bei uns – den ijgd – könnt ihr lernen, internationale Jugendgruppen zu leiten und eure interkulturellen Kompetenzen erweitern.

Wir bieten einen praxisnahen Einstieg in die Jugendarbeit und vermitteln dir alle wichtigen Grundlagen, um Jugendgruppen in Deutschland kompetent zu leiten. Zusätzlich liegt ein besonderer Fokus auf der Arbeit mit internationalen Jugendgruppen.

Im Anschluss besteht die Möglichkeit zwischen über 60 internationalen Workcamps zu wählen, um eure Fähigkeiten gegen eine Aufwandsentschädigung in die Praxis umzusetzen. Bei einem Workcamp engagiert sich eine international zusammengesetzte Jugendgruppe (16-26 Jahre) für ein gemeinnütziges Projekt innerhalb von Deutschland in den Bereichen Natur, Umwelt, Kultur oder Gesellschaft.

Mit der Teilnahme an diesem Seminar erwirbst du wichtige Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten, die dich für die Juleica (Jugendleiter/in-Card) qualifizieren.
